Age: 9 to 12 years ( 3rd - 5th grades) at Desert Sky Montessori

Get ready to stretch, move, and have fun! In this 6 week yoga class series, students will flow through fun yoga sequences, try strengthening and balancing poses, and learn easy mindfulness tools to help calm busy minds. Each class mixes movement with creativity through journaling and mindful art projects—no supplies needed, we’ve got it covered! Along the way, tweens build confidence, focus, flexibility, and body awareness while learning healthy ways to handle stress and emotions. It’s also a great chance to make new friends, laugh, and grow together in a supportive, feel-good space.Please fill out the form below to sign up and reserve your child’s place in the after-school yoga class.

No yoga experience is necessary and all supplies will be provided. Just have your child come to school in comfortable clothing!
Payment will be collected on the first day of class. Cash, Check, or Venmo accepted.
What to bring? Everything needed for the class will be supplied, even a yoga mat. Have your child wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement.
About Lisa: Hi! I am a Montessori teacher with almost 2 decades of experience teaching in the classroom. I am a Certified Yoga Instructor and Sound Healer, and Certified in YogaCalm for children. I am so excited to bring this class to Desert Sky.
