I teach Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin Yoga.
Hatha yoga is poses (asana) done with the intention and end goal of moving the body toward meditation practice.
Vinyasa means ‘to place in a special way’ with the intention to arrange or link poses together in what is commonly known as a ‘yoga flow’
Vinyasa teaches us to move through yoga asana in a thoughtful way, that the steps we take in yoga lead us in an intentional way towards strengthening our yoga practice. I teach both strengthening vinyasa classes and slow, healing flow vinyasa classes.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on. Bring a pillow, a blanket, water bottle, and anything that makes you feel comfortable.

To enter into a deep state of relaxation and rest.
Expect to be guided through a few minutes of slow movement and breathing first. then you will lie down or sit for 30- 60 minutes, depending on the class. You will not be required to lie in only one position for the entire duration of the session, allow yourself to settle in a comfortable position that works for you.
For those sensitive to sound and volume, it is advised to choose a spot further away from the instrumental setup. Like in a massage, from time to time participants may be so relaxed that they fall asleep. That is ok too, we will gently wake participants afterwarde.

You should feel relaxed, and your mind should feel in a deep state of restfulness. Plan to drink plenty of water, just like after a massage. You may want to take some time to journal or reflect on your experience before jumping back into the busyness of everyday life. Hopefully, you will experience a deep night’s sleep and positive mental outlook on life.

"After experiencing significant benefits from sound healing in my own life, I became fascinated by research into brain wave states and binaural beats. I take a trauma-informed and science-based approach, which focuses on stress reduction, better sleep, and improving physical and mental well-being. My goal is to help others experience similar benefits in their own lives."

“I had a wonderful sound bath experience with Lisa. From the moment I walked in, the room was beautifully set up and I immediately felt myself start to relax. During the sound bath I felt comfortable and at peace. Time totally melted away and I was able to process a lot of built up energy and emotions. I can’t wait for my next session! ”
TESTIMONIALS
“The chakra balancing was powerful and almost immediately put me into a space where I could feel things I have been holding onto. It was a safe space to give attention to things that needed it and let go of what isn’t part of my purpose. I greatly enjoyed the experience and would love to attend more sessions.”
IN holistic yoga practice, we tap into our connection with self, finding peace and acceptance.
a holistic approach to yoga
Yoga is not about perfecting postures or attaining the perfect shape. it’s a way to explore and understand how our bodies move and function.
The more holistic goals of yoga include discovering who you really are beyond this body and mind. Yoga invites us to question the labels and limitations that we place on ourselves, or others & society. Yoga is an opportunity to practice self-reflection and self-inquiry. It is a therapeutic practice that, when practiced safely, can provide healing benefits. I incorporate holistic aspects of yoga when I work with my students. We cover and practice yoga poses (asana) and breathwork (pranayama) along with opportunities for meditation.
