KIDS YOGA
children’s yoga classes, available in Bend and Redmond, Ages 4 and up!
As a Montessori Teacher Certified in YogaCalm for children, Lisa offers fun and engaging yoga classes for children ages 4 and up!
Children’s classes incorporate music, movement, art, and other creative play. Lisa’s thoughtful approach to teaching children focuses on age-appropriate poses to engage children. Yoga can benefit children by helping develop coordination, improve emotional regulation, develop patience, boost self-esteem, and enhance focus and concentration.

MUSIC
Music is blended into every class, using songs and dance. Children also will explore using real musical instruments and learn to tap into their own vocal awareness and the ability of their body to produce vibrational sounds.
YOGA
Children explore different yoga poses through storytelling, songs, and games. Classes are tailored to each age group:
Preschool/Kinder (age 4-6) Kinder-2nd graders (age 6-8) and 3rd-5th graders (age 9-12)
ART
MOVEMENT
Matching Breath to Movement is an important aspect of yoga, allowing us to tune into our body, create awareness, and develop mindfulness. In kids yoga, we also move to get our wiggles out through song, dance, and games!
Each children’s yoga class finishes with a short, age-appropriate art project, allowing children to solidify concepts that they learned during the class and have an opportunity for creative expression and reflection - and, art is fun!
